Ohio Gov. Mike DeWine issued an order Saturday that closes grownup day providers throughout the state with exception of settings of fewer than 10 folks.
Greater than 26,000 residents, primarily folks with developmental disabilities, depart their properties to obtain group-based providers in the course of the day, in keeping with DeWine. These teams can range between 4 to 100 members.
Some places have already closed or downsized, he stated, including that households and guardians are making or have made powerful choices to maintain folks residence.
Small teams and providers in an individual’s residence can proceed whereas following correct precautions, DeWine stated.
