12:06 p.m. Hyde County confirms first case of the coronavirus.

11 a.m. Virginia Gov. Ralph Northam provides a Saturday briefing because the confirmed circumstances within the commonwealth reaches 152 as of Saturday morning. Watch the video here.

10 am. The Japanese Shore confirms second coronavirus case.

Officers say a person in his 60s is the second identified case within the Japanese Shore Well being District.

The person was a journey companion of the primary recognized case, officers say as they conduct a radical investigation for different potential exposures.
